The story behind the blog...

Hello all.

I'm not great at introductions, but I find at times they are necessary, and since I only want to do this once, I suppose now is the time.

I have gone by many names over the years, currently I use the name Ivy, so let us stick with that. :)

Why the name changes? I have for almost 8 years now been a sexual trafficking victim. Both by police, and my own family members.

I have spoken with 11 different law enforcement agencies, and 23 different law enforcement officials in the last 8 years of my life.

And you know, they are all more intent on finding out what information I have so that they can destroy it. Namely because as I have been told multiple times, "it's not worth losing a high ranking officer over a whore".

49 times in the last 8 years I have been drugged raped and abused and sold, but "no one can handle the scandal".

So I guess in many ways I write this blog for my own mental health because my doctor told me to write. He told me that the repeated abused and injustices by the legal system actually make my PTSD worse.

I also write this blog for survivors and other victims, so that perhaps, what happened to me and my children will never happen to anyone ever again.
